October 2020: Mannan Foundation Trust’s Covid-19 ‘Save Lives’ Projects.

Our charity is on the ground in rural Bangladesh, working with communities to address the challenges they face. Some of the social inequalities have been exacerbated by the coronavirus risks, the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since March 2020, we have hosted public health awareness workshops to raise awareness of the risks of coronavirus.

These photos are from our public health workshops at the Rajapur Women’s Literacy classes. The community participants are designing their face shield through drawing and making. The aim of these classes are to demonstrate ways to keep safe and protect the communities from the spread of coronavirus.

The community members are learning the benefits of wearing a face shield and how to design and make a face shield.
