Free Health Camp in Rajapur Village - May 2017
Mannan Foundation Trust (MFT) hosted free health camps in the Rajapur village this week. Our Trustee Dr. Nilufar Fatema leads the health camps. Although the health camps were very popular with the village women, amongst the patients were men, women and children of various ages. These health camps attract high volume of women as they are willing to confide in a female doctor that they trust and have known for a few years. Running the camps have been a huge success, with a large number of patients seen during the course of one health camp. A variety of medicine, which has been donated to MFT by a number of pharmaceutical companies, our doctors prescribed and distributed to the patients attending the health camps. We are delighted to be able to host free health camps for the villagers who have a significantly low income which means they cannot afford to pay for medicine or to pay for the visiting fee to see a doctor as access to free healthcare is not easily available. On behalf of Mannan Foundation Trust we thank our Trustee Dr. Nilufar Fatema for leading and running the health camps.
