Mannan Foundation Trust's Co-founder and Trustee Dr Nilufar Fatema Luna has hosted a free health camp for the communities in Rajapur and the surrounding the villages. Free medicine were also distributed which were donated from our supporting pharmaceutical companies.
The free health camp was extremely successful and popular.
We are extremely committed to serving the rural disadvantaged communities with free healthcare and literacy classes since 2011. And will continue to do so in improving the lives of those who need our help.
Thank you for your support and please continue to support us. Together we are making a difference in erasing inequality and promoting self-sufficiency.
Our Success Story - 1st Graduation Ceremony. May 2018

1st Graduation Ceremony: First Cohort of the Women's Literacy Classes successfully completed their vocational course.
We are delighted to announce that our Trustee / Co-founder Dr. Nilufar Fatema Luna hosted the Prize Giving Ceremony of the first cohort of the Rajapur Women's Literacy Course and Vocational Course.
The cohort of students now all have great skills to make dresses and various crafts skills which they can utilise to start up their own business. One of the students, saved to purchase a sewing machine to start her own business.
This is one of our success story. We are erasing in-equality through self-sufficiency. WATCH this space for the next cohort and up-coming projects.

Our Exhibition in London’s Building Centre: March - April 2018
For two months visitors to London’s Building Centre, (New London Architecture) NLA’s galleries have been able to explore Mannan Foundation Trust’s project in rural Bangladesh which aims to address social and gender inequality, through the Women’s Literacy and Healthcare Centre in Rajapur village.
The NLA publication expresses, “We don’t often get the chance to look at rural Bangladesh here at New London Architecture, but for this project I’m really glad we did.” Quotation by Lucie Murray, Senior Programme Curator at the NLA.
We received some great feedback from the visitors to the gallery.
We would like to thank our two curators of the exhibition, Alex Ford and Tumpa Husna Yasmin Fellows for volunteering their time and talent to create this successful exhibition.

The London Architecture Diary is managed by New London Architecture (NLA), an independent forum for discussion, debate and information about architecture, planning, development and construction in the capital.
Every month architects and industry insiders share their recommendations for the best exhibitions and events to visit in London. For the month of March our trustee was invited to be the Guest Editor to share her recommendations for architectural events, exhibitions, debates etc in London.
