Rajapur Women's Literacy + Healthcare Centre Opens

Day 1: 30th December 2017

We are delighted to announce the official opening of the Rajapur Women's Literacy + Healthcare Centre.

The introduction to Women's Literacy and Healthcare classes were conducted by Mannan Foundation's Head Trustee Mrs. Razia Begum Mannan. The classes were extremely popular and we have had 35 women attend the very first class.

We are extremely happy to announce that the classes will be led by Mrs. Hawaa Begum who is a trained teacher and practitioner for Public Health and hygiene. She has many years of experience in dealing and working with Rajapur community through her dedicated work for the local NGO, charity called BRAC. She is a member of the Rajapur village community therefore we have been able to fulfill our goal of giving the ownership of running this project to the community members of Rajapur.
