December 2018: Social Environmental and Economic Design (SEED) Network, Pacific Rim Award 2018
We are delighted to announce that our Rajapur project has been awarded 2018 SEED (social economic environmental design) and Pac Rim Community Architecture Award. This is an International Architectural award to recognise excellence in Public Interest Design. Our co-founder Tumpa Fellows was invited to present the project at the annual international conference in December 2018, held at the National University of Singapore at the Department of Architecture. This has been a great opportunity to showcase our work at an international conference and to increase the reputation of the charity. The award ceremony also took place at the National University of Singapore. Our charity consultant and Structural Engineer David Fellows also attended the conference, who was able share his experience working on our charity project with all those interested at the event.
Our award winning architectural project the Rajapur Women’s Literacy and Community Healthcare Centre (Rajapur Centre), has been exhibited at the Award ceremony.
